Combines no doubt

Harvester, I'm not sure what gearbox you are talking about that drives the unloaderIJ I don't think New Holland has any gearbox that drives any unloading parts sence the TR70's. Maybe you are talking about the bubble up auger gearboxIJ That one did cause some trouble on my TR95, but the TR96 I had had a new drive on it and I have never had trouble on any of the newer combines. The bubdle up auger will ware in time, but is something that you see before you start harvest and can change in no time at all. The same goes for the cross auger in the hopper. If you look over the combine before harvest and fix any minor things, you will have a very trouble free harvest with a TR combine. I think the best things about New Holland combines are that they have always been leaders in the combine field. We have had things on our combines that other makes take up to ten or more years to put on theres. Some things I can think of are Terrain Tracer, rock ejection, hydraulic feeder reverser, even the bubble up auger and most of all rotorsIJ Most all combines made today will work good, but I still think New Holland is the leader of them, not a follower. Thank you very much, Ilnewholland

Harvester, You are a class act! Next year, if you go to louisville we'll have to all meet up and I'll buy you a beverage of your choice! That "chisel plow" line is one I wish I had of thought of when IlNH and myself where grilling the NH guy in louisville! Well, maybe while I was grilling him! IlNH just had a smiley stare about his face and kinda mumbled something incoherent from time to timeIJ :))) heheheheeeeeee.....He's a big fan of the CR but, we won't hold that against him as he is great guy himself with a lovely family, he must be to put up with my pranks, ehIJ Hey Harvester, if the trough is wearing out prematurely just slap some duct tape on that sucker and turn the radio up a little louder and you'll never now the difference, hell you'll think your in that awesome Gleaner of yours! lOl!!!! Take care and thanks for being here! JD

Duct tape. The true handyman's secret weapon. And the best part, it comes in a variety of colors to match your combine. Classic silver for those timeless Gleaners, bright green for those ubiquitous Deeres, brilliant red for those never-say-die Masseys or Binders, and yes, even yellow for those TRs that are starting to show their age. What a country! It will take more than duct tape to turn a TR into a Gleaner (ha!). For one, there's nothing like the roar of an R72 with an M11 Cummins under the hood. Oh, and then there's the rotor thing. Maybe next year all 3 of us can go around at louisville and torment the combine reps. Could be ugly.
