I have a feeling it will be Obama and Mccain. Obama just got the nod from the 800 lb gorilla (the Kennedy family) and gained a lot of clout there. If the race comes down to Mccain and Obama, it's anybody's guess who will win. But if Billary gets the nomination, she will lose to whoever runs against her. There are simply too many people in this country that cannot stand her - myself included! If, gawd forbid, she gets elected, I'm heading for Canadia!

actually after discussion with him, Dan Hurtt and I are thinking about running for president on the Hyper Party Ticket. This is our platform 1. Terrorists - first thing we would do is send them lots of beef in all forms, steak, bologna, ribs, brisket whatever. Free- all they can eat-food. Free Whoppers, Big Macs, Happy Meals as well. RationalIJ Have you ever seen a fat terroristIJ Fatten em to the point that the bomb belts won't fasten, they can't fit on busses or planes. Besides, ever seen a fat angry personIJ 2. Economy - we will make it a law that for every dollar we import from say China that country at least must buy half of what they sell to us in the form of US made goods. They will get credit for purchases from GB Austrailia and Canada and all other right thinking countries as well. 3. Health care - give huge tax credits for big arse folks who are killing us by clogging up the health system to loose weight. 1000$ per pound lost. Send excess food to - see n1. - IF they gain it back see n 5 destination of criminal illegials. 4. Farm policy - continue to make it so complicated that no one understands it, as it is now. 5. Illegals - find them - if they are criminals send them to Gitmo forever - if they have a job, post the position and if there is someone on govt welfare in the area and they will not take their job then cut off the welfare support. If there is no one available elsewise to take the job - shut the heck up - give them a valid ID and a credit card. Pretty soon they will be so far in debt they will feel right at home. The credit card companies will track them FOREVER. 6. Foreign oil addiction - maditory biodiesel and E85. 7. NUKES for electricity the way AC origionally designed them. 8. NRA - make way out tree huggers, members of PETA and AClU open season 11 months out of the year. Give them one month to reproduce for future sporting game supplies. 9. Space program - give all current presidential candidates, lawyers and the congressman of your choice free junket tickets to the first trip to Alpha Centauri - 6700 light years away. 10. Make my Mother In lAW Secretary of State - Peace in the Middle East is but one state dinner away - or WWIII. (ok this goes around the world - its a joke for those of you calling the lawyers)

I think McCain will see the nomination, he has a pretty good head of steam going right now. Romney could edge him out in the long run but must not only work the economic side but bring in the security aspect as well. Sounds like he has a lot of money, better play it soon or keep it in the bank. Obama has the energy and excitment to win his party, lacks knowledge and experience, that is whats scary, but this could propel the Republicans in the long run and so far they are running a respectable campaign. One thing that everyone agrees on is that Washington is broke, it's a shame our country cycles up and down so much, the CIA must be running the stockmarket and wanting to buy in low. HAHA I love tbran's response, it makes so much common sense that it would never happen. Thanks to all for joining in, it is fun to hear from everyone.. I realize that most politicians are the same the world over. Won't escape the BS by going to Canadia, but whatever you guys have up there can't be as bad as Hillary. That gal ain't right. Too many strange things surrounding her last stay in the White House. Al Gore is a certifiable Space Cowboy but I honestly think I'd cast a vote for him before I would Hillary. Nothing against women either - I had hoped that Condi Rice would have ran. I think she's got her act together and, unless she came out with some really off-the-wall policies, I'd might have voted for her.
