We have had our first couple of frosts so I'm thinking that it's time to plant our potted mums. We are going to try our hand in growing several to sell next year. This is a new adventure so hopefully we are successful.
I love hardy mums. They are so colorful and the blooms last for ages. Are you planning to pop them out of the pot first or are you just going to sink the whole thing into the ground? I planted mine earlier but I might get some more.
Mums have been good sellers for me. Hopefully it will be a good crop for you too. I've sold a lot of the bronze and lavender ones this year. They've been in demand for some reason.
Wait? You can plant the flowers in their pots? Wouldn't you need the roots to grow into the ground? I hope they come back next year for you. Are you just planting a few this year to see if they come back?
