Potato Shortage

Have you all heard that the crazy weather we've been having this year damaged the potato harvest? They are saying that not only will potato prices likely increase as a result, but that there may be a French fry shortage, too. My family and I really love potatoes, but we may have to find some substitutes if there's a shortage this year.

Well that stinks. Does anyone know where Manitoba is in relation to Idaho? I know Canada got hit and Idaho is kinda right there, so.........

I didn't hear anything about a potato shortage. We grew our own this past year. We froze several into fries. I really hope that there isn't a shortage around here.
