Tony, In the Feb issue of Successful Farming mag, there is an ad that says corn heads available for the 2377 range from 6 to 12 row. Haven't asked a dealer, only what I've read. Wish that we had as we ordered an 88 last Dec for the 06 harvest.

You must remember not all areas grow 200bu corn some areas maybe closer to 100 bu, then the 77 is able to do it same machine as 88 for the most part.

Sounds like its just gunna be like a small grain 1680 or something like that, another under powered rotor. Maybe i am wrong.

It'll hardly be underpowered. I beleive it is about the same HP as the 1688's were, don't have the numbers in front of me at the moment. Chads

I was under the impression that the 2377 wouldn't be available with some of the bells and whistles of the 2388's. Difference in AFS systems, etc. Kind of a Chevy compared to Cadillac deal. Chads

From what I understand you can get all the same AFS options on the 2377 as the 2388. In my opinion Case is ripping us off with the price of the new 2388's as they are the same machine as the 2377. I think that Case is not really pushing the 2377 yet because of this. I haven't seen a 2377 on a lot anywhere yet has anyone else seen one.

Then I suppose all the Deere operators with the 9760's 9860's outta be po'ed tooIJ Same thing with tractors. 7120 through 7150 is basically the same. Or the Maxxums, 5130 through 5150 all basically the same except turbos. Chads

I climbed all over the new 2377 at the Toronto farm show this week. It is just a 2388 without the bin extension and a lower horsepower rating. the changes from last year include: 1. The cage, concaves and grates are all painted black. likewise the auger bed is painted black. The bulkhead at the back of the auger bed is red however. 2. The hydraulic lines are all cadmium plated instead of being painted. likewise all of the bolts and screws are cadmium plated instead of being painted. Other than that it is still the same combine.
