Any farmer with an agricultural farm requires feed if they rear animals. If there was demand in your area, would you consider livestock feed production, and what are the risks involved?
Scarcity creates demand, so I would consider my options and focus on what was needed most. You have to factor in the costs of production and work on the profit margins.
I would only consider it for local business only. If a turkey operation burned to the ground, there would be an opportunity that just opened up. If it simply went out of business, then the demand obviously dried up and I wouldn't try.
I would check to see if there was competition. Have you ever thought about a business idea only for someone to implement it before you are ready? Create a plan based on demand in your area!
