Combines R 65 shoe loss in soybeans

Something is bad wrong. The new long tilted shoes make it almost impossible to have loss. Check the splintter for bowing, the choke for straightness and correct movement, the fan to coating in the blades or bent blades. Make sure nothing has gone through the accelerator rolls and tore out chunks of rubber. Check the distribution augers for bent flighting or a bad trough under them. Finall does the center pacer or grain loss board SHOW loss hereIJ HOw much. Are you sure it is not coming from the throat pivot seal.IJ.

All parts are in good shape.I am sure it is coming from shoe. the center pacer shows loss and when you look behind it all the loss is in the middle of the shoe. When you stop it leaves a pile on the ground. at the end of the shoe. if i do not puish it over 3 mph it is not a problem. it seems like they get to bouncing and bounce right out the back. 30 beans to square foot loss. Had same problem a different machine (R-65) last year.

you need a service rep, I guar un tee you have a major setting or mechanical problem. That is 1.5bu_A loss. The only way this can happen is if the distribution auger is dumping everything in the center or if chunks are off the accel rolls in the center, you said not, or if there is either too much or not enough air in one sectio of the fan (coated over blades). Beans will not bounce out. They are either blown out or ride out on a mat of material. I do not like to use a corn chaffer in beans or any crop other than corn.

had similiar problem until through the advice of agco we cut new air deflectors off between chaffer and sieve with a metabo. could not get enough air to clean up beans which will let chaffer matt over and carry beans with it. they were there to deflect more air to the sieve IJIJIJ take chaffer out ,ask your dealer and you will see them to see if it could be your prob

Make sure augers are installed in proper location. It looks to me they could be installed wrong. Should be a bunch of pins in front auger on far right side. Rear auger has positions for pins all the way accross accelerator roll area. Check for extra distribution auger troughs are not installed. left approximatly 4" of accelerator rolls should have trough above it and approximatly right 12" of rear auger. Why are there hill side extentionsIJ Hill side extentions make me think there may be extra distribution auger troughs installed. let us know what you find. Good luck

Hillside extensions are on seive and grain pan. We need them for corn. No extra distribution troughs are installed. Everything else checks out okay.

See post above. What gets me is that it works great in corn. Had trouble with shoe loss in wheat with regular chaffer and no dividers.
