Combines RE CORN HARVEST WITH STS COMBINE

farm pro, You should have told us you have 1000 more acres out there. I am a loyal deere combine man. I run a 7700 and 6620 and depend on deere for 2 main reasons: 1. I know how to work on these machines and set them to preform in all the conditions I come across. 2. There are several dealerships within a 50 mile radius and parts are either there if I need them or only a day away for special orders. I don't rely on their servicemen and do all the labor and maintenence myself to save bigtime $$$. I'm guessing with your combines you ordered heads tooIJ Anyway if I was in your situation, I would be one P.O.'d S.O.B. - you catch my drift. You better be getting a discount or a HUGE credit or some type of benefit from deere. I myself toured deere's harvester works in late August and they had just come back to work after a 2 week vacation - they weren't busting it like there was a huge demand to get combines built and there were several sitting on their back lot that were waiting to be shipped some where. My advice would be to use your voice to light a fire under someone an$ or take your $$$ and business some where else. I wish you good luck in harvest once the combines arrive. Give er' hell 95man

It sounds like you have a difficult situation on your hands. I assume that your dealer already sold the combines you traded him. Therefore your dealer should supply you with combines. If they don't have any in stock, or cannot acquire any from other dealers or farmers, then they are obligated to pay for you to hire or rent machines. They can either absorb the cost, or go back to Deere for reimbursement.

Something ain't adding up. Reynolds Farm Equipment on the northside of Indianapolis appeared to have STSs laying around in their yard as I drove by Monday morning on I-69. I also spotted a 4400 or 4420. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Well RED, I dont know what its like over there in Indi, seeing as I'm over east here in New York its this way. where I'm from dealers do not hang on to combines long at all, in fact my Case IH dealer is the only one to have a combine on lot right now. I wish it was like over there.

Usually Reynolds had no new combines sitting in their lot at this time of year. I also saw a couple of 6600s or 6620s. Sorry to hear about your misfortune.
