The serrated ones will be better in tough cond. but give me some time and post here when I get the paperwork done on my rocktrap. This one will NOT plug or it will no longer be the bottle-neck of the machine

In corn my serrated blades seems to shell corn with the 20 tooth sprocket. Should I use the 30 tooth instead to slow it down and stop shelling the corn in the rock trapIJIJIJ It feeds great no plugging. I'd put a 1_4 inch angle iron under the rock beater where the 10 guage wear plate was,it was beat and bowed down. This thicker piece of angle reduced the clearance between the beater blades and the bottom, the beater blades are adjustable so I set them in a little. The angle iron has a square corner that I feel shells the corn some, the old 10 guage wear strip was rounded.Anybody else done thisIJIJ

That's what we use is a 30 tooth (thirty something anyway) we had the same problem u describe shelling corn so we slowed it down. Brad
