R.O.M. I really enjoy your posts, too. I'd say that's a pretty high ratio of fires resulting from the number of farmers and contractors using the draper heads. I don't know if it is possible, but a very quick, emergency-type detachment of the head from the combine itself, would indeed, save a heavier loss. Agreed, CAT corporation has almost always made money. But, individual divisions can lose, while other areas of the corporation make up for it. According to Andy Beck, AGCO CFO, Challenger was still losing money with AGCO until manufacturing was transferred to AGCO's Jackson MN operation where it went to break even. Mr. Beck stated Challenger was expected to show a slight profit toward end of 2005 for the first time.

Before you make statements like Massey was dead 15 years ago and they were alive in name only tells me that you don't know very much about Massey or how they came into being part of the AGCO family.Even after 10 years and all the buying AGCO has done,Massey is still their biggest division.You should educate yourself and get the facts straight before you speak.Have a nice day.

Thanks boys ,thats confused the job Do I put a draper back on IJ with all the good stuf that goes with them ( good feeding lat move gauge weels will go low to ground with out dozing to mutch ) just to name sum Or burn everything to the ground some one needs to biuld a front so as to get the bat or p_u reel over the knife in the same way as draper front my bit thanking you all tin tank
