Rural business shipping

My wife and I have always used the USPS to handle our shipping because we thought it was important to support the post office. We've never regretted that decision until now when all of a sudden, we can't get our packages to our customers in a timely manner. We're living in the time of Amazon Prime shipping, so folks expect to get their orders quickly. Who do you rural guys use for business shipping?

Your options might be limited since you're in a rural area. It would be making a deal with a devil so to speak, but I shipped through Amazon's Fulfillment Center when I lived in the boonies. You send your merchandise to Amazon and then you sell it on their platform and they mail it out. Of course, they take a pretty good cut of the profits and you'll gain no customer loyalty that way, but it's an option that worked for me in the past.
