Combines Saw dealer info on 2588

Yes just a few updates and I noticed you said nothing of the NEW price of this combine. I am willing to wager that the 23 more horsepower will cost the consumer about a $1000.00 per horsepower and about $10,000.00 for the bigger unloading auger. So what will you have from what you are saying it will be a 2388 with a bigger unloading auger and 23 more horsepower and it will all come in a new package. And the price will be at least 30 to 40 thousand more then a new 2388. Great marketing ploy by CNH don't have to retool anything and increase the price of your product. And the sad part is people will be chomping at the bit to get one. Just my humble opinion.

I never said the "Big Scary Corporation" is the bad guy what I stated was that their WOUlD BE A PRICE INCREASE for basically a 2388 with a bit more horsepower and a faster unloading auger and a new wrapper. Man read a post before you reply. Or does CNH sign your paycheck because if you do work for CNH just remeber without us poor saps buying your products you might be among the ranks of the unemployed. A point to ponder perhaps

You did come across like you were surprised about this This isn't exactly anything new....... Not sure if it's going to jump up on cost that high exactly... lets wait till you post the price before you try to wager war with CNH Also if you would look around just about EVERYTHING IS GOING UP and its the exact same as it was last year or years on past Heck this higher priced gasoline doesn't seem to last as long as it used to a year ago. Atleast there's improvements done to the machine lol

I see what you mean...And alot of people think its just there company screwing with just there costumers and the other companies are not doing it.. Believe me it doesn't matter what company your with were all getting the Shaft.. Thats life.

If the new 2588 is a ripoff, you don't have to buy one. If people are willing to pay their price, why should they lower itIJ

Are you that naive. Here is my scenerio. lets say I have a 1998 pickup I give it a bit more hoprsepower bigger tires and change the design just a bit and WOW I have a 2007 pickup which I now can sell to you for about 50% to 60% more then the 1998 model. This is all CNH is doing with their NEW 2588. And if you are interested I will sell you one of those 1998_2007 pickups.

Oh ok. We do business with Cox's in Hoxie. Buy quite a lot of tractors and combines from them. I'm sure you are familiar with them...
