We use this often. We add it to our "rubs". It is very different than regular paprika. Paprika to me has no flavor, it's a garnishment. Smoked paprika has a great smokey flavor.
Yes, I have/do ...and as has been said it has a much more intense and smokey flavor. Have added it to stews and hot dishes ...or even macaroni and cheese where it can add an interesting and smokey flavor that can drastically change the expirence of eating macaroni and cheese.
