Big oil companies have more money and a bigger lobby in congress than we do. look what happened with mtbe and ethanol. Now they are finding out that mtbe is poluting our ground water. It won't go away. We need to o something ,we have become too dependent on oil. 52$ a barrel. WHY !!!!!!

Why you ask IJIJIJ Because they can !! Any little excuse they can come up with is all the reason they need . Yes you are right , we are too dependant on oil . Biodiesel would really help along with more ethenol . Amazing how food is one of the lowest costing things all over North America . Yet it is a nesessity of life . Makes you wonder how a shortage of farm products would affect things . Maybe we need to hold back our crops and cause a shortage !! Joe

Remember the farm strike in 79 or 8o. It didn't work because you can't get two farmers to agree on anything. I wish we could but they would just import cheap grain from south america. We have the lowest food prices in the world. Most people don't realize this, The american farmer is taken for granted. They don't realize how lucky we are to live in this great country of ours. (Didn't mean to start preaching, sorry.) Tim
