This year I think I'll gift every customer with a packet of seeds, at least for the first month that the farmers market is open. I'm also selling classes where I'll teach customers how to creatively build their own bouquet. There's a huge design element to it and it's truly an art form. What's your game plan?

My plan is to be a buyer, not a vendor. ;)

Booths that catch my eye are the ones as professionally done as needed for the product they're selling. The higher $ end the product, the more professional it should be.

IMO.

I think that's a great idea. Everyone loves free stuff. If you put some flower arrangements out for display, I'm sure you'll catch attention for your class. I would personally love to learn how to arrange flowers. It really is an art form.

How about "stand out at the farm" because I know a lot of smaller farms will sell some of their excess crop to the public when available. Sometimes retired farmers keep a small food plot going each year and sell veggies. That's my idea of a farmer's market.
