How about an automatic draining urinal. YOu can't even stand on the deck without the unloading auger stopping. Oh well dumping on the go stopped that anyhow. The boys set me in that r72 and let me out 12 -14 hours later. Seriously does anybody know anything about the cab controlled cylinder adjustment for the 2000 R72sIJ Got our dealer to kick that in.

I would like to see the straw spreader changed to a hydraulic drive like the N series dual conversions were. That would take care of the hard to replace_change speed belts. I also like what is said about leaving the hydro lever alone. I'd also like to see the combine designation made big again instead of in the stripe. Unless you get close, you can't tell if it's a 52, 62 or 72 going by on a truck or sitting on a lot. Oh, and bring back the Deutz motor.
actually there is one painted green,,,,, won't run and has set still for years,,,,,,, and BTW Deere still is offering BIG bucks for Gleaner patents in quite a few areas.
I got a tidbit about the cab controlled concave adjustment - I -think- it is one of those electric actuaters that are used on the reel fore_aft and ladder lift (might be hydraulic, don't know for sure). Controlled by a switch in the cab - a cable from that to the grain bin front out the right side cab window will give cyl. clearance on scale. Would just need to look out the cab window while making adjustment. I tend to think this feature is way overdue. Tom langan
Imitating Grainman: AND MAKE IT REAllY REAllY BIG, SO BIG I CAN'T GET IT IN MY SHED. AND MAKE IT GO REAllY REAllY SlOW DOWN THE ROAD. AND MAKE IT REAllY REAllY EXPENSIVE. AND MAKE IT REAllY REAllY HARD TO WORK ON AND ADJUST. AND MAKE IT REAllY REAllY UNDERPOWERED. DID I MENTION PAINT IT GREENIJ DON'T FORGET THE STRAW WAlKERS TOO. OR MAYBE PUT A SINGlE TINE IN IT SOMEHWERE. THAT WOUlD BE REAllY REAllY NEAT! I think John Deere has this market cornered..... Tom langan
