T8 Bulbs In A T12 Fixture

Have you had any experience with t8 bulbs in a t12 fixture? Do they last long enough to make it worth the attempt?

You might have to buy a ballast bypass tube light. Usually though it will work, as the pin connectors are typically the same.

They offer combo ballast you may consider.

I have switched a few over to T8 simply by using the appropriate electronic ballast.
'Note different wiring'
I learned by trial and error to follow the wiring diagram printed on the ballast. The wiring is a bit different than with the old style ballasts.
