The Olympics

The Olympics will be here before we know it. Do you plan to watch any of the events? I usually tune in for the swimming and gymnastics competitions. I'm always super impressed by all their talent and skill! The athletes are amazing!

I enjoy the track and field events the most. Usain Bolt got me into the sport because I enjoyed watching his antics. He seems like a good fellow on and off the track. He's retired now, so he won't be in Tokyo as far as I know. I'm a runner too, but I can't imagine having his speed.

I'm rooting for Simone Biles, on the American gymnastics squad, all the way. She's had an amazing career and I expect we'll see big things from her in Tokyo. I make a point to watch the gymnastics and diving events. Sometimes I catch more if I have time.

As much as I like sports in general, I've never paid much attention to the Olympics. I think it's more fun to either play the game or watch it in person. I still hope the USA racks up a ton of gold medals.

I will watch as much as I can. I love beach volleyball and swimming. I can still remember when Michael Phelps won all of those medals. He was amazing to watch.

Is it true that fans aren't allowed this time around?

I look forward to the ball games but more on the combat sports such as judo, and karate. It's interesting to watch a variety of sports and the number of participants joining only makes it more thrilling. The pandemic is still worrisome, however.

I'll watch whatever there is because I'm sure there'll be multiple live broadcasts online, especially if spectators will not be allowed. The pandemic is emotionally draining but seeing the athletes do their best somehow cheers me up.

I love the Olympics! I watch as much as I can (when time allows). I'm not a big fan of basketball though. I have boycotted the NBA and I'm pretty sure that most players are professional.
