well this new 8010 I have is just purring along no problems. JAC105350 is still not fixed. They replaced teh feeder_rotor hyd pumps, still not it. going to do a pressure check on the rotor cvt unit. another one doing the same thing. and that was it. I was discussing this situation with a Case IH rep today told him i'd like a new one. I guess their all sold out for 2005. couldn't get one if I wanted to. Sure hope I don't have a fire!

Well I took a little trip down memory lane today, and stumbled across some prophetic words from farmertony from a year ago after I warned him to stay away from the 8010. Getting hold of the right people can be a big help. I remember Dad had the first 1460 that the dealer had sold and his service people didn't know any thing. After about a week of trying to get it going Dad ask for the phone number of the president of the company. After the call to the president a man showed up three hours later. The first thing he said don't go by the book. Any way to make a long story short after a few minutes the new 1460 was running like it was designed to do. After that Dad was a IH man with a 2188 the last combine he used.
