Combines Thoughts on Agco CNH

local (NE Iowa) 3-location CIH dealer just added AGCO tractors to his offerings...maybe he knows something we don'tIJIJ I can't see AGCO getting the whole shebang (due to gov't regulation),but if it is parceled out there are certainly pieces of CNH that would benefit AGCO - namely articulated 4wd, DMI tillage and perhaps a skid-steer line. What about a SP forage harvesterIJ Would fit in well with the other offerings from Hesston. The guys who had Field Queens are still trying to keep them going - must like them!

The USDJ will stop a complete takeover of CNH by one CO. But remember CIH worked well with AGCO in Hesston before NH got involved. I hope we don't see it but I could see a very good relationship with the CNH and Agco employees and customers. Putting the old technology leaders, IH and AC in one bucket could come up with some interesting innovations for the rest of the market to compete with. What a mix that would be, innovations from AC,Case,Cat,Fendt,Ford,IH,MF,MM,NH,Oliver,Steiger,White... all available from one company.

A lot of my customers think they are the same company anyway.. We carry both Agco and New Holland and now we have Buhler wich really added confusion to world order........
