Deerbines you are 100% corect every manufacter knows what to expect when they go to them shows and if they sit in the corner they are plain scared to compete or think they do not have to.There is a lot of people that want to see side by side comparisons and not running will eventually hurt them.

School Janitors don't like cleaning up after some kids puke either. Unfortunately, that is part of thier job. Part of a Deere reps job at a get together such as HHD (I would think)would be to meet and greet and talk to as many people as they could. Perhaps you feel insignificant, that is your problem. I on the other hand am a paying customer that might be owning his last green combine if that's the way it goes. You don't look at an upfront payment of half a million dollars on a combine over a 1 year time frame. Same with greeting and coming over to meet people. If your only going to visit when there's a sale in the upcoming 30 days, you are not going to get my business. Money over time. Relationship over time. Visiting me and greeting me each and every time. As I said before, it only takes one person to start a ripple effect in the waters. I really wonder if they are as much as the hype says they are. Deere seems to have forgotten who butters thier bread..........so to speak.

I forgot to mention..... Case and agco both had guys come up and greet me and start talking right away. I didn't visit the NH or Fendt site so don't know about thier position. Every seed tent I went into someone walked up and offered water or soda pop and visited as long as I wanted to. I had guys that sold irrigation related equipment in buildings that I told I had nothing to do with irrigation as I was a dryland farmer and still handed me pencils and imformation and had me enter into thier drawings. Now what does that tell you about customer or potential customer treatmentIJ Two biggest A-holes of the day. Deere and 1 guy over at the dodge tent. He must of been a deere guy formerly.

23884life said "If you're making a business decision on a $200K combine based on a company not doing "enough" to please you at a time-consuming machinery expo like HHD, you're not doing a very good job of managing your business" I personally feel these time-consuming machinery expos are for farmers to be able to physically compare one machine to another so he can make the best business decision in picking the right combine. It makes sense for the manufacturers to demonstrate their machines there instead of going to every potential buyers field to demo.

He wouldn't look at me when talking. Was looking off in the distance like I was a pain in his arse to even visit. Acted like I should know every thing there was to know already about that prototype charger sitting there on the floor when in fact the imfo on the sheet aside of it was limited. Told only about how the car was spec'd and nothing of it's history or potential future. He plainly was rude and short and showed a serious attitude problem. Nothing a good blanket party wouldn't of fixed.

Yes, some of these trade-show jockeys can suffer from an over-inflated ego. The reason I asked about the Dodge rep was because I had a similar experience with a Dodge rep.

Deerebines, After reading your posts and views I came up to the conclusion. Just as probaly did the Deere guys and the Dodge people. Possibly your just an a$$ hole and no one likes dealing with you and why would they want to deal with you. For example the dodge guy "he didnt look at me" whine whine whine whine whine, whats the deal did the guys at the coffee shop get tired of hearing it so you took it here. Your just one of those know at all customers who think they know everything. So these guys think why mess with him hes smarter than us anyways.
