Mind if i ask what part of Ontario you are fromIJDown here in south-western Ontario Gleaner dealerships are just as plentiful as Deere and_or Case ( ie ONE PER COUNTY !) We have 2 dealerships within 30 minutes drive and service is good.

i'm sure in your mind deere pionered the plastic dividers. I have at my dealership some original dividers allis chalmers had us field try in 1977. they also had a light under the outside divider to help at night,so just as with the electro hydraulics in your mind they're still first, but FACT isIJIJIJIJ let me know in 3 years how many stress cracks etc.there is ,even the green paint wont cover it forever. another fact! my dad demo'd a used jd combine to get rid of it,my dad thought it was doing a great job of your resee ding but the customer went to a jd neighbor's field and thought he was doing just as good a job'so he was happy and bought it.just goes to show some people just don't know where to look.

I for one dont pay much attention to what colour the Jones are driving. Our Gleaner combine and Allis go up and down the field just like the rest of them, and break down just like the rest of them. You are lucky to have that many dealerships in your area, its one luxury we dont have. The deere dealership we used to deal with ( for jd 7000 planter parts ) was pooryly stocked and no closer then any of the other colours. In fact the Red and silver shops are closer then the green by a good 20 minute drive. You state that you have never had the desire to drive a gleaner. Why is thatIJThe early N series did have alot of teathing problems, which cost Gleaner a market share, but those problems we solved long ago.I suggest that if you get a chance someday that you ride along in the new series Gleaners you might be surpirsed at what you find.
