So guilt by associationIJ Both Osama and Saddam are guys that the world would do better without but even the government admits they cant prove a link bewteen the two ( as far a 9_11 goes anyway)Having said that we all have our suspicions but if one bases the fact that they met more then once as proof of 'connections' one must consider that US governments backed both of these guys in the past. Osama when he was fightin the soviets and saddam when he was fighting the Iranians.

You sure got a point there. I was never for this war in the pre war discussion. But I don't think, it's getting us anywhere now arguing over, if the US should have invaded Iraq or not. It's done. Much more do our troops deserve our support now, because back stabbing doesn't help anybody. After all, getting rid of a tyrant, who killed over a million of his own people, helps the remaining Iraqis. And we haven't had an attack on the American homeland since. That still does not mean, that for this reason I am for going to war.
