Piece of literature dated 1988 for the NEW R40 states the weight of the cylinder as 597 pounds. Could be wrong (Hey, I think it's happened once, maybe twice before... he he),but pretty certain there isn't too much difference between that weight and yours. Have a good one, Ryan.
