Nice to see other musicians_combine enthusiasts on this board. I dont care for Fender strats though....I go for Jacksons_Charvels. I've seen a few Greenstrats in my day...still lookin' for a silver Jackson Soloist though

stratocasters rule! hell stevie ray vaughan played one and he was awsome! just listen to "little Wing" on a good set of headphones sometime

there is no hope for you. lets roll on the burner.. fender stratocaster is a brand_model name of an electric guitar. I have a knock-off but always wanted a good one. Now comfort king, that is another matter.

Jackson's are great, too. Played one for a while that had a floyd with emg's and it rocked. Flame top too.. also like the jackson rhodes sig. but kind of have to stand to play it comfortably. Really like the malmsteen strat with a scalloped neck. Get carried away with bends all the time, though. Enjoy....GS

Sorry SRV may play 'little wing' but it is a Jimmi Hendrix song. You are correct it is an excellent tune. look for Sting's version of it on 'nothing like the sun' (My favorite version)

Stevie did re the song and I like it much better than the hendrix version, but that is only me. I personally think Chris Duarte is probably the hardest hitting player I have ever seen. He just rips you up in a live show. GS
