Send that 9610 on over here like my cousin did and I will be glad to show you that a well tuned and operated 9610 is NO MATCH for my Hyper'd N6. In the same field, my N6 runs 2mph faster and gets a much better grain sample with 2bpa less lose out the back than the JD9610. Wonder why JD went rotaryIJ They couldn't compete with rotary technology with the conventional machines, any color! A Class size deals with grain tank size and hp, not internal capacity. Hp and internal capacity makes the real difference in the machines.

Have not made a decision yet. need to cut about 2100 acres of 20-45 bu wheat. The N6 can be found real cheap and if it ran 70 hours separator time it would be paid for. Have looked at several, just don't know which way to go. Some are junk but have found some w_o oil leaks and decent looking bars and augers for $7,000. Can also find and old 8820 for about 10,000, but I think the gleaner will outcut it.Could trade up but lots of payments. Thanks for all the advice 9610

can you find a decent dealer close, gleaners are nice to work on, if in good condition will smoke a green machine, rotarys don't like tough grain, when its not fit to combine in small grains, soybeans i will be harvesting in 7am in moarning green boys with conventional combines won't get started to about 2pm

We have a 81 N6 with a 84 throat and a chopper and this fall it will be pushing a NEW 8030 flexhead. Should be fun.
