Where do you get your information about new technologies? Twitter, forums, newsletters? Are there certain people you love following, if so, who? How did you find the current technologies on your farms today?

My friends and I make solutions that help increase efficiency and give you more insights on your farms.

We have a new product that we have released and want to find the best ways to reach all farmers!

Let's start a discussion I am interested in learning how you get your information.

I just Google the term more times than not. Successful Farming is always a good source. Basically, anywhere there are industry leaders and specialists is where I go to that information. When I read an article in a major outlet like SF, I research the person who wrote it to see how credible they are by how many years in the field they have and what they have done in that time.

I might go to Twitter if I want to argue about politics, but when I want to get work done that isn't the place to go.

One of the best places to get information on new technologies in agriculture is from your cooperative extension. When I started off in farming they were my main source. They offer all kinds of courses and seminars for new farmers and for long term farmers and if your join their listserves, they'll email you all sorts of great info.

I used to subscribe to Modern Farmer and it was wonderful! It included features on the latest tech to help with livestock and crops and much more. Do they still put out a magazine? I need to subscribe again if they do.

I don't think they do the magazine anymore. They moved their articles to their website/blog free of charge so even better for us!

Thanks for the help, I'd like to see if you have some interesting points you'd like to add to some topics on our website What's wrong with ag-tech | Rakr
