Reallly helpful comments...Seems to me you just copied the post about FarmFest in MN posted back a few weeks. Jacka$$ If CIH is so embarrased why do they have an 8010 at Farm Progress in Illinois a far supperior show with much more grain harvesting focus.

I don't know much about Dakota Fest, but it would seem to me that out in the vast fields of the Dakotas an 8010 would be as much at home as in the fields of Indiana. I think your reply is in very poor taste, and especially so since I'm assuming you work for CaseIH.

Ive never heard of dakota fest and i have no problem with case just attending the big show's The 8010 was at the last farm progress show and it was doing a great job with that 36ft macdon Also yeah the magnums and the steigers are still the best...tractors available Also atleast case doesn't offer 3-4 different models of combines thats identical except for HP and Grain capacity in back id be more embarrased over that ohh and im glad deere finally realized the rotor is better

I think you should sit your A$$ in the seat of an 8010 and run one before you call it a joke. last year I would be fine with you calling it a joke because they had issues. This year they've done a complete 180. Granted we only have around 1000 acres a peice on ours this year so far, we havn't had a single problem yet! We were taking 50 bushel grain at 4.0 mph with a 36ft. macdon. We weren't even pushing the machines, around 70% power. We took them all the way up to 5.0 and it was still doing a decent job.

By the way you want to talk about a joke. lets talk about all the new JD combines that have ben blowing upIJIJIJ A friend of mine deals with the electronics on new JD combines and he told me that there have ben over 100 new combines blowing up. Mainly on the STS but there have ben some walkers. Sounds like the n6 piston has ben going through the block. He also told me that those combines aren't the only machine those engines are in.

I'm glad to see some comments about the 8010, I was bored to death reading this site. A couple more weeks and we'll have it in the field putting it to the test. Updates look good. Take it easy, I'm going fishing.

Dont jump to fast I will agree last year they were a joke but I think they may be are getting all the bugs out. Ours sure did work good on the wheat the real test will come in high yeilding corn. You can talk all you want about Deere but they had some major updates on there STSs and you know they did not give there owners a extended year waranty like Case has done. And if you want to talk about a joke lets see here ahh I want a class 8 machine well lets just re chip 9660 and put 9860 stickers on and raise the price 40.000.oo and watch all those green underware guys buy them cause Deere says there a class 8. Wow the power of marketing.

The Deere STS was AlWAYS a Class 8 machine; - it was introduced as the 9880STS in Europe the same time it was labelled the 9750STS in North America.
