Read on agriclick about a survey that asked farmers if they had 1 million dollars deposited in their checking accounts how would they use itIJ One answer was to farm till it ran out! Merry Christmas! T3

I second the motion to request of AGCO to be the first on the market with a CVT transmission in a combine. Really, there is no excuse not to be. They own Fendt - who makes the best CVT in the world by most accounts. It is very compact, reliable, and can handle a lOT of horsepower. No reason in the world why that tranny cannot be slipped into a combine with very little engineering changes. Perhaps they feel that cost is an issue - but marketing could overcome that by highlighting the increased efficiency of this transmission over a hydro - which is very inefficient.

Center discharge on straw to get better and evener spread. Bottoms of augurs to open for cleaning on return and clean grain cross augurs. I agree with CVT on final drives. A handy to get at and easily lockable storage compartment for tools and parts to keep the cab clutter out. should do for now

I've thought of more. 4.How about optical fibre or wireless for shaft sensors, grain loss with digital sensors .Oh and modular electronics priced to what they are really worth and that is basically nothing ,plug in plug out no more time_money wasting Mechanics _Technicians frigging around that end up fixing nothing electronic. 5.A actuator on cleaning fan choke so when shoe load goes off so does air to stop that annoying grain blast at headlands, corners ,starting, slowing for down crop etc. 6.On board grain tester ,screenings, protein, moisture. 7. in cab chaffer and sieve adjustment 8.GPS guided auto steer with lets call it field maximiser it'll calculate the most efficient way to do irregular fields. 9.back massage in seat 10.Well um sorry rolf but have done a 10 ton to Ha irrigated wheat so mine is bigger than yours. pengs5

lOl Peng's Yes just a tad bigger! With the electronics, as much as I love them and they do make things easier! lets keep the electrical system good old 12 volt automotive system! as we can fix that in the field with a lump of number eight fencing wire! I did think about installing a fan airspeed aircraft ASI indicator! (can use a venture system to measure the air speed of the top or bottom fan duct! be very interesting to see the changes in air flow with load! Boost and pyrometer are a must I believe! independent settable grain loss monitors for rotor and sieves. A cab multi switch box that can be used for farmer installed electrical attachments! UHF_CB radio communication console! so we can install our radio systems, and Cell phones (We call then mobile phones here in OZ!) Optional order of no! steering wheel!!! With auto steer becoming common place, Id love to just use a joy stick to control steering when out of crop! imagine no steering column!! :) the view would be very nice! in a 10T_Ha crop! :) and my back and hips would thank me for it! Option to have a dirty big Air con! as I know you guys in the North need dirty big heater, but I have taken our heater out and the air con works better! only need about a 1_8 size heater core in the headers we get! Rolf
