I'm planning out planting for Spring sweet corn and what I can use to for planter and one-row cultivator. Attached is my tractors wheel spacing (which is not adjustable).
The distance between rear wheels is 31" and outside is 64", so two row planter rows adjustable from 14" to 36". However...
Just moving in my 10 acre hobby farm (now vacant farmland) here in MN. There is quite a bit of grading i need to do, and will add a field road/path around my property to drive truck and maybe 4 wheelers on. Someday maybe goats may run around on it. Would i put something like this general...
Hi all - just purchaing new chunk of land and building a new house. One of the first things i plan to get is a Compact Tractor which i plan to use for snow removal, plowing, dirt moving. With a cab on the tractor, will be about 8 feet tall. So my attached garage doors on my house i'm going to...
Up here in MN, the hobby farm i'm looking to buy has about 8 acres of dry farmland, which is currently alfalfa (a farmer rents it). My plan would be after i buy it, attempt to put some crops in there. It's always been a dream of fine to have a mini-farm with crops like that. I have a ton of...
Buying 10 acres, and looking to initially move dirt, then have ability to plow the ground, and prepare to plant some corn or other crops. So wondering if i would need multiple like bobcat and sub-compact tractor or compact tractor.
4-H is much more that crops and ag. I did fishing projects, carpentry projects (made it to Start Fair, which was a big deal when i was 13 years old!),and vegetable/potatoes. My sisters created fashion designs! And now, based on recent conversation i had with a 4-H leader, they are even doing...
@SadAnt - i develop and build with IoT devices, sensors, Apps to build smart solutions. I haven't done this in Ag yet, but is something i'd like to start to prototype. But like you, i need ideas (start simple),and lets build something awesome!
Barntools look like has some potential. I develop tech for IoT type stuff. Mostly with Image Recognition, sensors, then connected to App in realtime. If interested, i'd be willing to talk about developing a new product for swine (or really anywhere in Ag) if anyone interested.
