Well that's a first. I didn't know this place doubled as a job board. I like your ambition and I think the people you're trying to speak to will appreciate that as well. Ranch hands are always in short supply, so try marketing yourself in that area as well.
I wish you luck on your search, friend.
Those things are heavy feeders I know, but I don't know why. Anybody here know? It's kind of a pain knowing that one grow is taking more out of the soil than the others.
I'm assuming you have the machinery to harvest that amount, so I would get with it right away. The sooner you get them out, the fresher they will be for selling and that's always a good thing.
Or until the gas runs out. :)
And yeah, I like the way the driveway slopes down on both sides.
I would love that scene. The pine trees help freshen the air.
Since the most recent articles I can find are about 2 years old, dig into the companies who would manufacture this as well as beekeepers if you want to find more information.
I believe they're being used, but the usage isn't going to make the news unless something horribly goes wrong.
They're worth it in the parts of country where animals are populous and don't know the meaning of "road".
As wildlife pointed out, they can be used for other things as well.
Without knowing what type of pine, here is a chart that shows the maturity of all types. Sorry for the chopped sides.
I think the price you get depends on your region and the harvester you get.
Do you want to diversify your farming operation? Aquaculture is something worth looking into. Profits are steady all across the country, meaning that demand is not waning.
Do you know anyone who raises.........fish for example...
I was just listening to this last night. Ted Talks I believe, and the speaker was saying just that. It did start with a bat, so it is zoonotic at least right there. They were also saying that these types of viruses are bad for poultry. Chickens and such are very susceptible.
Not saying that...
My thoughts are complicated Darrel. Just a heads up.
If you plan on living there for the rest of your life, the money doesn't matter.
If you plan on selling it eventually, do a cost/benefit analysis. Supplies and labor vs. how much more the house will be worth when it's done. If those two...
I think the animals will teach her. If she wants the animals to love her back in return, but they don't because of her approach, she will eventually change her approach.
Has anyone here done this conversion? If so, how did it work out for you? Many people have told me that making money off of grazing land is a lot less volatile, less monetary risk if you will, than growing crops and people new to this industry would much rather go the grazing route.
Do you think virtual reality technology could be beneficial to farming? Whether you want to learn more about it, or expand on what you're already doing?
Pancreatic cancer for example is caused by, among other factors, abnormal sugar levels. One could make the argument then that the pancreas is allergic to too much sugar. Much the same way that a liver is "allergic" to too much alcohol. The allergic reaction being the eventual failure of the...
What would be the best way to clear this patch of land I have? From the pictures, you can see how some of it slopes. This part of the land especially, the dirt is loose.......meaning it is very soft to walk on and we haven't had substantial rain for a few months. It's always like that. The dirt...
They make tire inflators (air compressors) specifically for airing up your tires Wildlife. I know you know that. They even have three different models with more amps, or something, to fill your tires quicker. In this vein, I would say the inflators with digital readouts are overrated. Like...
I never have. Maybe the seller didn't fill out any information there, or incomplete information, when they were posting the ad.
Close all tabs then restart your puter. That seems to solve a lot of issues.
