    Dicamba Woes

It looks like Dicamba is going to have to give up the fights. Courts over the past 4 years, at least, keep disagreeing with them when they keep saying their herbicide is safe. Anyone here have experience with this brand?

Homemade or store bought wing sauce

Cattlemen's is great, I highly recommend it. But no, I'm not one of those that think it's sacrilege to buy sauce from a store. I love good, homemade sauces, but it's not something I'm passionate about.

    Wreaths

Do you guys use pine needles to make wreaths? I've always wondered what the homemade wreaths are made out of. Pine needles just seems like a natural way to do it.

    Thoughts on second relief package

Any extra money in the pockets of Americans is a good thing. This virus didn't really effect me financially, so I don't have a dog in this fight. If I did though, I would spend it wisely.

    Adapting U-pick Operation

That's really all you have to do. No need to overthink this, I think. Just kindly not allow the over 65 crowd to participate unless you set certain time of day aside only for them.

    Goat milk

Goat milk is an acquired taste. If you're used to cow milk, it takes some time to adjust to the different taste. It is very good for you though.

    Coyotes are still howling

A sturdy, well trained farm dog will alert you if a pack comes down. From there, buckshot. Especially if there's 3 or 4. A loud bang followed by spraying pellets is a good deterrent.

    Water Distribution

Does anyone know why we cannot distribute rainwater from flooded areas in the eastern U.S. to the arid, drought stricken areas of the west? I don't know how many times I have heard of flooding after torrential rains in the east, and the areas that are 10 years into a drought in the west, in the...

Google now translating English to Poultish

HO! HO! HO! They will this year. They're making a point to let the kiddies know that there is no Covid at the North Pole (It is a magical place, after all!) and he will be wearing a mask. What is his native language? Norwegian maybe?

    Polaris?

I've heard good things about Arctic Cat. They have been around for a minute and seem to continue to get better. Polaris is good too......it all comes down to personal preference sometimes.

    Buying plants at Amish greenhouse?

If the women are wearing those hats that look like lacey pill box hats, they're Mennonite. If they get in their car and drive away when they get off work, they're Mennonite. I don't live near either sect anymore, but if you can't trust the Amish, who can you trust?

    The Ag Industry Is Safe

The Department Of Homeland Security is recognizing the Ag industry as a critical service, and nothing involved in the production and transportation of food will be disrupted. This should come as good news as more more people are told to stay home and ride out the virus. DHS Issues Guidance

I've inherited a khat farm in a country where it's legal to grow.yikes

If you know nothing about farming, and it's in Yemen, I would sell it to the highest bidder. Reasons? 1. You're not going to change the locals' minds about how to grow this because A..... They have been doing it for hundreds of years, and B.....you know nothing about farming. You said it...

    T8 Bulbs In A T12 Fixture

You might have to buy a ballast bypass tube light. Usually though it will work, as the pin connectors are typically the same. Why do you ask?

    Is everything made to fail?

It started with light bulbs. Light Bulb Conspiracy Probes Planned Obsolescence - Consumer Reports They call it planned obsolescense, and when you look at the products you're talking about, as well as many others, it makes sense. To the manufacturers of course, not the consumer. Also, look at...

    Anticipating Spring

Looking forward to the warmer weather? Has cabin fever set in and made itself at home? Don't fret, March is almost here. It seems like spring gets here sooner when you start making preperations for it in the weeks leading up to it. What do you do in preperation?

    Binge watching TV

For me, binge watching a show means watching nothing but that for 4 or 5 hours straight. Waiting a few days and watching more starting from where someone else left off. I have binge watched Shameless most recently, but have probably only seen half of the nine seasons.

    Black Pepper In The Radiator

Flex Seal. LOL. If it's good enough for a boat....... but then there's that heat element Pepper was made for seasoning food, not soldering metal parts together. Don't do it.

    Where is your farm?

10 acres in Indiana but not all is being farmed. It's a side hustle of sorts. I live a simple life and it suits me fine. I let the neighbors kids "steal" my tomatoes and have fun with it.

    Do you have flood insurance?

In your area, is it mandatory to have flood insurance, or just a really good idea? I know most people only get it if the chance of flooding is over 50% based on the weather history of their region.
