    Appreciating The Mornings

Do you still appreciate the mornings? A cup of coffee on the front porch while the sun is rising and you haven't had the time to think about the rest of the day yet? It's the best part of the day for me.

Biden-Harris Administration Outlines “America the Beautiful” Initiative

They could start by making more parks in the poorer neighborhoods in the big cities. I read somewhere recently that the ghettos are severely underrepresented in this regard.

    Registering side-by-side

Who did you buy it from? Did they have it registered? If all you're going to do is drive it out in the wilderness, why bother with registration?

    Too Many People?

The planet is up to 7.8 Billion human inhabitants. What is your take on this? Are there too many people for the food that is produced and grown? Or is it simply a supply chain issue?

    Capitalizing on Beef Fear

The food demand, in general, has gone up which is why prices in the stores are going up. But I really doubt beef prices would increase because a few thick people believe that beef would be banned.

USDA Hosts First-Ever Virtual Fair on Food Waste Reduction Innovations and Leaders

Is it the first-ever fair? Or the first-ever virtual fair? You typically don't hear about this, so I'm hoping they have been finding solutions long before this.

    Right To Repair

Exactly. Which is a load of BS. Does JD think they are the only steak in the store? I hear Massey Furgeson is putting out good machinery these days.

    Sunshine GardenHouse

A lemon that cost $1700? You bought a grove, dear. Well, a lesson learned is a lesson learned. I never assume that something is the same as what was promised.

    Foot traffic and sales?

Much better than in the past. I have noticed, ever since the pandemic started, that more people are opting for outdoor markets. It's gotten to be a habit now, so.......

    What's for supper?

Chicken and cabbage. I have to watch my health and this meal always agrees with me. White meat is best if you're watching your health.

    Learning From The Past

I have learned to respect the weather and pay close attention to patterns. My grandfather drove that hard. He was a big proponent of "If you don't know the weather, you don't know s**t". Sorry, but those are his words.

    Life Span of Riding Mower

I've had my Craftsman for 5+ years and it's still good to go. This reminds me to get in the garage, clean it up, oil change etc...... It's that time of year.

    Mosquito repelling plants

They may be right, but I would rather have property free from the moisture that attracts mosquitos in the first place.........than have bats. Forget that. Rosemary and basil I can do. The lady likes those kinds of garnishes.

    Brush like apparatus

It's very normal. Cows get itches too. I don't know what it is about cows, but seeing them do that is the only thing that makes them seem like normal animals to me. They just lack personality and scratching themselves gives them a sort of personality. I guess.

    Growth By The Tree Stump

I cut down a smallish tree a few years ago (around 6" in diameter) and small growth has been coming up around it ever since. It is unsightly. I have been wetting down the area around it, creating a moat of sorts, so I can get to the roots from underneath. This is turning into quite the project...

    NFT?

Non-fungible token is what it stands for. My brother and I were talking about this the other day. It's basically describing an item you cannot physically hold. Like digital art for example. Digital items bought by digital currency that have a "digital" worth. If this goes over your head, don't...

Just a Smith and Wesson for me. Basic protection and target practice shooting. I like to see that my aim is still good after all these years.

    The Chicago Mercantile Weather Derivatives

Just in case you feel like getting inventive with your money, The CME is the only market where you can "Trade the weather". "In the late 1990s, people began to realize if they quantified and indexed weather in terms of monthly or seasonal average temperatures and attached a dollar amount to...

    Improving productivity

Rotate your crops. It's called permaculture. If you typically don't have multiple crops going at the same time, maybe you can start. This is the only way I know how to reverse the effects of monoculture.

    Skunked

And I've heard that if you use tomato juice your dog will end up smelling like skunk and tomato juice. I've had two dogs hit and the peroxide works as well as anything else. Except tomato juice. :)
