Actually, they've got threshing units sitting out behind the research building running on electric motors, with nothing running through em of course! When I asked the engineer type what this simulated, he didn't have a real good answer and mumbles something about "formulas"lOl. Your answere probably just as practical though. Chads

Touch! Hopefully, in due time the boys at East Moline can provide some astuteness to the people working on the 8010. But until then, better make for sure to voice any improvements that need addressed. A little constructive criticism will never hurt anyone.

Yeah i hear about all the great John Deere Rotory combines all of them have been great lol.. Also its about time deere got a rotor.. The 8010 also isn't case's combine..Its NH The just told CAse to do whatever they want Yeah its my opinion and i think most would agree it takes some time to get the bugs out. We are talking about handling extreme weight and mass flow of all kinds of crop There have been alot of machines that it took a while to get going but then it turned out to be a great machine. So yep my opinion but i think in a few years i'll be right (i hope ) haha

Yeah The operator is probably 80% to blame (just my opinion) most of the time WE have some guys around here who run 1688's and 2388's and all they do is gripe about The rotor belts breaking and the deere guys ask us what we think about it and we just laugh and say weve only had one break on us in 30 some years...so maybe its not the combine lol
