It will be interesting how long it takes CNH to get the 8010 right. Then I wonder how many of the early ones will get the good stuff. I just traded my STX accu-steer off for a used JD, cause I am fed up with CNH inability to fix problems on it do to SNn breaks, and compromises. Did you know you can not fix the ATC on the A_C, cannot add Implement management switch to early ones. There clutch and 3-pt hitch stinks for grain cart use... Finall straw was how they never helped on installing Auto-steer. Heck the rear art. joint varies by at least an 1.25" on where it locks when in combo mode. I would agree with you, they are not the company they used to be. Another fine example is look at the rims they use on the STX, then look at a JD in road gear. All the JD's I have seen have way less run out, and notice that on the tubeless applications they have two schrader valves one on the inside and one on the outside. Helps emensely when changing tire pressure alot...like grain cart duty or heavy 3pt use.
