Glad to here your 8010 is working decent. We installed the roller kit in the feeder house which really quieted it down on our 8010. Sure wish there was a way to make the screen show up better with the glare of the sun it is really tough to read.

It is the same type of kit like we put in the 2388s to keep the chain off the lower pan in feeder. I think it will be available thru parts and if your interested and your dealer cant get it let me know and I will give you the phone n of where to get one and they will drop ship it to you. It is easy to put in no drilling holes bolts to existing holes. I run one last year to see how it held up and it was very good really made it quiet. Then we had to install a different one after Case updated the feeder house and chain. We run it in wheat no problems. F.R.

I'll tell you at the end of harvest. last year was a nightmare, this year has been pretty good so far. I'm keeping my mouth shut till the end of the year. Rumor has it the hp is going to be up on the 06 models.

My 8010 was nothing but trouble all summer lucky we had a new 2388 to do the bulk of the work we traded the 8010 for two 2388's and feel so releaved to be done with that 8010 there is no way that one combine will ever take the place of two 2388's

I agree. Any dealer selling the thought of one 8010 for the work of two of anything else is lost.At least if one goes down you are still moving crop off the field with the other and the reliability of these 8010's is just not there.

I know of a farm running two 8010's with 12R here and have had very little problems. The farm is very pleased with them and says capacity is unmatched. Apparently they were turned up to 415hp. Heard they are running ovewr 6mph in 175bu corn. I will try to find some more info.

seems like my dealer is buried in 14 16 21 and 2300's that have a lot of problems. I think the 8010's have come a long way. It took a long time for the 1400's to get ironed out as well. the trouble is how much everything costs, esp the labor to fix anything.
