I couldn't agree more with Harvester. The lexion is a machine manufactured with extremely high quality components, which will far outlast many of the components on all North American combines. It is also designed with performance in mind, as many of the complexities are there for fine tuning all aspects of the threshing and separating processes. Many operators would rather complain about the job the machine does than do the extra research or work required to make the machine perform to its full potential. The lexion machine would be my choice, and as for the 8010, maybe one would be better off with a New Holland TR. The 8010 is nothing but a cheap knock off TR with a single rotor stuffed inside, and a few components changed to help "differentiate" between the two lines. I'm sick of all the cheap junk out there still sold at a premium price - lexion quality is an answer. Warranty issues will happen with all machines, that's what warranty is for - to work the bugs out at the manufacturers expense.

Better off with a new hollandIJ lexion qualityIJIJIJ last time i looked lexion has been around for a long time But yet....All you used to hear of is Gleaner then Case and John Deere Now its still case and john deere....and a lil bit of cat I don't see why you think its n1 and i seriously doubt its all that much better than anything else out there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know the farmer personally who owns those five lexion combines and he is well pleased with them. So is his brother who owns two himself and a near by farmer who owns another four of them, plus a few other satisfied farmers in the general vacinity who own lexions as well, including myself. lexion combines arfe being marketed very well in So. Il. The farmer with the five lexions demoed the 590 with the 1630 corn head and was well pleased with its performance. The reason why the farmer with the five lexions keeps them is because according to him, "there is not another combine that can perform to the same level of performance as the lexion and that they are pretty simple to work on." I also know for a fact that all five of his machines operate every season with only minor issues as with all brands. You should ask him sometime how many hours he has on his machines and why he has kept them so long. He will tell you because they last. Also, FYI - the So. Il CAT dealer is still a lexion parts and service dealer and has one heck of a lexion mechanic.

That's some issue you have. Anyone who takes that much of a personal issue with something he has no control over is a jealous man. Watch out so it doesn't get the best of you.

They would need one with a dealer all the way up in decatur I know of a few guys in that area who run case ih stuff and there are 2 locall guys who run new 2388's and i Know they are very very happy with there machines Sure you always have a few things here and there I also think that 590 cat has is a pretty nice looking combine but i just know the case's have had a really good combine for some time now and i don't see any reason to change Plus with service and support as good as vandalia its hard not too

"lexion doesn't mean anything in USA and Claass means those dorky green...white...red...orange..black ish combines you always saw in some dealers and thought who in the heck would buy that thing" I don't understand what you meant by the above statement that I quoted you as saying. If I was a betting man, I would have to say that lexion owners are probably some of the most satisfied combine owners around. All those I know with them soon realized that these machines did alot more than what they were advertised as doing. And held up better than the brands we had prior!

their is allways someone who thinks they know a lot but don't know sh*t. an 8010 is like a TRIJ get a life. a little bit of a CR in her but not much. as for a lexion it's german, made like a nazi tank, heavy and tough and complicated and like a mercedes car a hard seat and not to glamorous in the cab. its how the germans make everything. how about a fendt tractor that cab really s*cks I've been to harsewinkle and seen the claas factory they have impressive quality and make all their own stuff, but that can be a problem.

Good post and i agree The Fendt tractor cabs are a joke But hey Great Transmittion lol Also the 8010 and CR only have the same frame basically Isn't that rightIJIJ maybe a few other componets but overall they gave case a few things and said here make your combine off of this platform I just wish case could have made there bigger combine that was on the drawing board maybe mcormcick USA will find the plans and make there own....and make a copy of the 2388 for when case desides to make something and paint it blue lol

I didn't say n1, I said My choice in the discussion. I suppose the latest thing since sliced bread depends alot on which region one works in. In our area Deere and CaseIH are strong, Gleaner and NH have a toe hold, and very few newer Masseys. This also depends which county you're in. I can appreciate the quality of the components used on the lexion, comparing them directly to other manufacturers. Heavier auger flighting, cast idler pulleys, robust mechanisms (which are complicated, yes) and some very good ideas. The TR crack was a low blow - I appologize.
