I have found that you have to look at all options on some of these parts. I needed an electric actuator for the ladder lift on our 72 when the one we had on that machine failed. Agco wanted $687.00 for the replacement. Found a new one on Ebay just like it for $107.00 delivered to my door. look for alternatives and they will be forced to be competive.

Did you get it from Burdens Surplus CenterIJ Their price was so good I thought of buying one as a spare.

I'm finding that AGCO can be both extremely high (to some degree) in some of thier parts prices and yet, be very reasonable (if not cheap) in other parts. We just rebuilt our 8030 engine and found AGCO to be more than reasonable, yet we couldn't buy a dipstick for our 850 (Grass-seed)combine, which I believe was quoted at $247.00. Go figure!

Agco will gladly resource , only if they have the information. If you find a part that is the sale for less, let us or your dealer know. About 90% of the time when we find an alt source, AGCO will use then , or it forces the vender to get in line.

Good idea! If the item is in the next catalog, I will send a copy of the page to AGCO.

AGCO has to have the parts made for the A-C engines since they are no longer a current production brand. (Unless they are still dipping into NOS from 20+ years agoIJ) Would the dipstick for the 850 now have to come from PerkapillarIJ Thus explaining the priceIJ

You would be in a darn sight better situation than the unsubsidised Aussie and Kiwi farmers currently are. You would only be facing massive subsidies from the Europeans. In Australia today, we are not only competing against massive European subsidies but we are also competing against a stupid $12.5 billion of US subsidies. You and the Europeans are also destroying the farming communities in numerous poor countries around the world as they cannot compete with heavily subsidised cheap, dumped american and european grain and other agricultural products on their own country's markets. Because of their poverty you then give them aid to buy more cheap subsidised grain. Crazy and plain stupid! To you this criticism sounds harsh and unjust. Just remember that the world sees you and many of your actions in a very different light to how you see yourselves. And some of what even your good friends around the world see they just cannot make any sense of and do not like at all.
