Yeah, but what about the year after you make the purchase. One half of nothing is still nothing!!!

like I said earlier why are you calling HesstonIJ You should be ripping your dealer a new one. Didn't he sell you the combine; he better fix it and stand behind it. Everything you have talked about has updates, better catch up or you'll be left behind. I guess I didn't know that there was another perfect company or combine. My mistake.

I wouldn't put much value in one auction. Gleaner has better resale value than the other colors. I would guess that the Gleaners were no saled and the other colors might have been no saled but their dealer's were protecting them by bidding them up. I know that the auction was suppose to be a "no reserve" but I would like to see where the combines went home to. If the Deere dealer let them R62's go for that money he is in need of a loan right now. Kelly

Are you talking belt that drives clean grain and does it have FieldstarIJ OR are you talking belt that drives unloader and does it have the 14" unloaderIJ Does it leak when unloading only or when bin is fillingIJ Did it matter how full the bin is if it is a leak near clean grain beltIJ I've found a couple things that can cause a small leak in small grains depending where your leak is.

You'll have no problem running with or beyond any equally powered machine if you finish up with a few things you have read hear. I would suggest you get the hump fastened on trap door if not allready done. I would suggest the third helical filler over feeder opening that you are allready planning for that will help plenty and or better yet do the steep pitch helical trick on thresher side to whatever degree you prefer. You can go further by extending every other cylinder bar to end of backup bar and extending top helical to within a few inches of bearing plate. Rotor sweeps help a bunch in the tough going to keep everything flowing well on seperator side. Keeping things flowing on seperator side even helps prevent feeding problems for the material will not backup any more. If you have discharge beater in place of chopper be sure the knotched blades are outward and in good condition. A discharge beater that will not pull material from rotor will kill well setup rotor. If it is power you run out of be sure charge pump is working. You can pump hand pump very slow and you should hear relief cracking open in main pump. Also be sure wastegate control diaphram for turbo is not cracked open. You can check this by putting 30 or less PSI into diaphram and it should hold it. You'll surely like this machine if you finish up with a few of these well proven enhancements. Good luck

Gleaners do not have the best resale value that is a joke and the CASEIH dealer was the one selling the gleaners. The Deere dealer out of Goodland had the 9600's.

Nice point Kelly, I went by where they had that sale 4 days later and the 2388's were back on the dealers lot. The Gleaners hadn't moved still in the auction line
