He worked there probably 15-20 years ago. Going back to your previous post, yes it is sad to hear what has gone down at the diary farm. As the saying goes: One minute of fame can bring you a lifetime of shame. You go ask Max who Pete and Anton areIJIJ!!

Come on guys, lets take a vote to see if we will allow him to have that big of a combine. If he loses, we're just not going to let him buy it. He'll just have to settle for an IH 403. I know a guy who combines 10,000 acres with a 403 and gets done before March 15, with only one operator and he's 93 years old.

Hello Nathan, I understand what you're saying. Too bad you couldn't convince your boss to buy a new Massey; - no shortage of capacity there, especially with (what I've heard of) the new SISU diesels they're putting in them. By the way, which CaseIH dealer is being "consumed" in the new yearIJ Is it Vincent's in Woodstock or another dealerIJ I always thought Vincent's ran a pretty good dealership up thier in Woodstock!

It seems a little strange that Vincents would be selling any of its dealerships. I thought they were in "expansion mode". It didn't seem too long ago that they bought-out Beckers in Exeter! I hope thier doing okay!

Vincents had 5 dealerships at one time. All run by different members of the Vincent family. I know the one in Cambridge is now a Massey Ferguson law and garden dealership. Not sure about the one in Ayr. The other 3 in Woodstock, Seaforth and Exeter are all run by brothers. Doug in Woodstock wont do aything for you. They had 5 mechanics at one time over the past year who sat around and drank coffee all day. Boss went in there to get a can of spray paint which they did not have. The brothers run each dealership how they want but the ones in Exeter and Seaforth will do anything for you. Brother in Woodstock is the area rep for case I believe so hes more busy with that. So he selling and looks like Stratford will buy it. Which is ok since they seem to be a good dealer. And its a closer drive them Vandenbrinks. Take care, Nathan

I'd love a new Massey. I sat for along time this summer in my truck and watched Deys Equipment Center demo a new 9690 in Wheat. They had another one at the farm but wasn't running then. They sound sweet and did a nice job after walking out in the field behind it. Take care, Nathan
