Combines current combine market share

There's nothing new about thos figures. I doubt that it worries the manufacturers involved, except for the one on top. Where do you think Deere plans to go to from 64% market shareIJ You know, most generally accepted schools of thought (definitely greater than 64% of the business schools in North America) do not promote the benefits of a market leader, whose market share is greater than 49% as being healthy. Any one company_supplier having that much market share means; there is something wrong with the respective economy and_or market in which the company supplies its goods and services to, or there is not enough competition. There's plenty of competition! The King never remains at the top of the mountains.

Cataglory you are so full of shnt. CAT does not build a combine much less have 50% of market share. Claas may have 50% in the UK but does not have 5% in the US much less the world. you need to go back to the playground now and play on the monkey bars before the teacher finds out you are playing with the computer

Claas does have nearly 40% of the world's combine market share. And there are a lot more combine manufactures with high volumes of sales than Deere, New Holland, CaseIH, AGCO. That being said, 40% makes Claas the leader.

--And there are a lot more combine manufactures with high volumes of sales than Deere-- I am not disputing anyones facts but from an interest point other than Class can you name a few of those "lot more manufactures" with higher volumes than Deere, NH, Case, and AGCOIJ I can't think of a single one.

Jusr curious the 20% share that you say Case has that is just with 2388s' or does it include the 8010 and is New Hollands' share in with the 16% of the everyone else or I they part of the Case 20% share. Also if possible could you breakdown the 16% share to what part would be Gleaner, Massey, Cat and New Holland

Where did you get your info fromIJ Not sure about the world but in North America JD is the big dog. Even after the merger of Case, NH, IH, and Agco, Gleaner, MF, and Cat, Claas, and Challenger and who ever else. Same goes for tractors to. John Deere has never been bought, sold, or merged. Think about that before you start pi$$ing on our heads and calling it rain..

Not yet anyway, 64% market share isn't a very healthy position to be in, especially given Deere's extensive debt load. The only long-term direction for Deere to go is down. No manufacturer has ever proven to be a long-term market share leader and survive. Give-em time, the stockholders will demand excitement and rise in prices, Deere will have to look for other growth opportunity, other than Ag stimulate a surge in stock prices. Or the banks will call in Deere's debt.

the 20% is only the 2388. i do not know the break down of the rest but i do know worldwide cat has 50% of the market with the others picking up the rest.
