Combines Full finger auger

This, I believe, was tried strictly on a corn head by the gentleman. May also work on others (ie. flex heads),I don't know. Keep in mind the washers weren't a permanent fix as they do eventually fall off. I guess you could weldIJ But sounds like he likes the "real fix" better. A set up called "Quick Feed" made by a gentleman in Topeka, Illinois. It is basically a bar that bolts onto the auger flighting which sticks out past the flighting to grab material. Have a good one.

I'm the one(not only) that tried the lock washers on the corn head. Spot welding them will work. This will also work on the soybean platform. As far as the Quickfeed in soybeans, they are much too aggressive. They wrap the beans around the auger and won't let go. I'm going to add the full finger auger next year.

they had it years ago. We had a old claas header with it that we used on our 8460 massey nice even feeding compared to our later 1010 case heads what a pile of crap.

I got it from Kendall Roetman in Hospers Iowa. My head is 20ft. and he added 12 more fingers to it. He does this on the side plus farm. All the fingers are Case IH. It cost $2585 and took him about 3 days to do it. I can't remember exactly what he charges for a 25ft and 30ft. His address is 4131 log Ave. Hospers Iowa. Phone is 712-230-1831

Roetman has a web site with all the basic info on his full finger conversions.

Close to Ft. Dodge Iowa, so far the best beans I've ever raised. Been planting mostly Pioneer B12's, all the fields are running 59-62 bu_ acre. Just don't tell "Chicago People", don't need the prices any lower. Talking about hail coming with rain tonight, sure don't need the first part.

Marshaltown, I know this is not in your area but ther is a business in Illinois doing conversions on Gleaner,Case-IH,and Deere heads. The name of the company is Marshall Enterprises in Varna,Il.. Phone number is 309-463-2347 or 815-866-0029.(Ask for Ron). I just installed a 20ft.500 series auger that had been converted to full finger for a local cumstomer. Everything looks factory and they are using the poly fingers. Anxious to get this head in the field as I know it will make night and day difference in feeding. Hope this helps, Hyper Harvest II
