Take my sheepskinIJ At least I'll still have my red blood and a non-hyperized combine. Boy business must be slow for you to have time to argue with me. Besides this aint english or MSU it the real world. We can't have our cake and eat it to.

fight no fight here in order to give an unbiased opinion on all combines you would first have to operate most of them. I have run deere 4400, 6620, 7720, 7700, 9500, 9510, 9600, 9610, and 9750. Gleaner A2, K2, M2, R52, and R62. Only 2 new holland's 1400 and TR70. And CIH 1660, 1666, 2188, and 2388. sorry never ran a cat but seen them run. My opinion is never bashing, biased or BS. Just what I have learned over the years. As my lat grandfather told me, "yes I once owned a gleaner then I bought a combine. You may think I dont know alot but I've been inside and out of these machines and none are fun to work on. But until I can be proved wrong I'll be red though and though, because We've ran the same 1660 since 1991 and, knock on wood have had no major downtime and never been down for more than a few hours or till morning for parts or a flat tire. You know bigger grain tank and more horsepower don't do you any good sittting in the shop. Just my 25 cents worth.

What gives with all the newer combines than the GREAT 1660, the 1666,2188,2388, the 9510,9610,9750 and the R52, R62 that are all newer than the 1660. Your facts are like SWISS CHEESE, holes everywhere! That's 8 different combines in 10 seasons, either that 1660 is broken alot to need a loaner or your story is really off. I know 2 "wheat run operators" that haven't had that many machine changes and brands in that amount of years. This would make a good novel(novels are of course fiction),My Combine Adventures by Roadfarmer! Dream on buddy, but we like facts, not fiction here in the Gleaner section.

If you really must know I worked for a deere dealer setting up and delevering combines also have many freinds that farm and the chance to run many makes or make is a 1660 and has been since 1990. if you would take your galvinized blinders off you would have read that!
