I did work for an AGCO dealer for a few months after college. Best job i've had so far. Dispite it lasting for a short while. Ya you should be able to gain a few more acres with the 5 extra feet. Havn't heard that rumor about Cold Springs. My boss is real good friends with the guy who's head of their crop division. They just bought that 9690 Massey last year so who knows what thier going to do. I'll ask my boss and maybe he can find out more. So with your change of combines, any thought of your new nameIJ If your going to change it. What part of my name sounds familiarIJ Take care and best of luck, Nathan

You're right; - I do have to change my name. I was known as SilverTurnedGreen prior to trading my 9610 on a C62; - maybe I'll just reuse that name! I know your name from Farmphoto.com; - you've posted many pictures on thier!

Hello Nathan, Aren't the farms owned by the Cold Springs kill plantIJ If so, I believe they are a division of Schneiders Foods which, in turn, is now owned by Maple leaf Foods. I heard that Cold Springs offered to lease the land to respective operators a couple years ago, but I'm not sure where that idea ever went. How many acres does Cold Springs operateIJ John

Ya the whole company is now owned by Maple leaf. Not too many people are happy about that move but what can ya do. Never heard about them renting out the land but might come down to that. The old Cold Spring elevator in Ingersoll that First line Seeds now owns, is now trying to be sold as an industrial park. I know Cold Springs owns that land so this might be the start of them selling their land. I have no clue how many acres they run. Must be quit a bit to operate 2 285hp combines. They've got alot out Avon way. Take care, Nathan
