Just speaking to local conditions, I guess. You didn't way where you are, but in some places fastline has much better coverage than Iron search. You might try Fasline.com. There are probably 2-1 80's to 60's around here, with some 2000 acre operations running 2366's. Chads

Interesting, I talked to the parts guy at our dealer this morning, and he said he still thought there were about 2-1 60's to 80's in our area, up to and including the 23 series. However, I know that's changing, as most of the new combines sold are 88's. local dealer hasn't sold an 8010 yet, and I don't know of one in the area. Chads

Son and I farm approx 2,500 ac (1,4400 ac. corn, rest soybeans) and run a 2366 with a 25' 1020 and a 1083 cornhead. We're looking at a 2388 for next year , want to go to a 30' platform. but if we have to will run the 66 another year. According to the specs a 2366 has more cleaning area and larger elevators than a 1680.

The 2366 also has more HP than a 1680, and maybe a 1688. The 2366 is a pretty efficient machine. It's too bad it's been discontinued. We currently do about 1000 acres with a 1480. A good 66 would probably be a nice fit for us. Chads
