Well to each his own Dakota,but I like my STS. I don't know if yall have learn how to set the STS yet but I have cut corn and soybeans in the same field with a lexion . From the post I read above, ain't no way a lexion with the same hp class as the Deere, if the Deere is sat right, going to have that much advantange over it in speed, thats a lie. Now I know cat has a bigger combine and it really isn't fair to do comparisons with the biggest CAT, but Deere will have a much bigger combine next year, so we will see then. P.S. I bet I can set up my STS faster than a lexion. The lexion is a big yellow Deere CTS. They don't have nothing that Deere or Case coundn't outdo if Deere or Case saw a REAl threat. Claas need a dealership network, or they won't last, no matter how good they are.

Now let me brush of that chip on your shoulder. The lexion combine is the only one that has actually a working moisture sensor, a yield monitor and a grain loss sensor. Deere puts a bunch of wires on the combine and a bunch of numbers on the display but they are so far away from the truth, I can't believe that you guys keep buying that junk. And don't tell me, that it will work, because JD Harvester Works couldn't do it on our STS's. The header hook up, the hydraulic controls, the most fuel efficient engine, longer unloader, memorizing the settings, blowing out the radiator once a month and many other things Deere or CASE don't even come close. Don't you be saying that Deere can't outdo all that today, becauese it would be a lie. Deere and everybody else has nice things, too but we still want to stick with the truth here.

Hey Dakota -- I see you still continue to bash Deere but are hesitant to publish the report that you have on the Cat's. My suggestion is that if you cannot come out and say say what you want about the Cat, then maybe stop bashing the Deere. You lose alot of credibility when you continue to bash Deere, but when taken to task on the lexions you cannot release any info. Also, this comes from an impartial person as we do not run Deere but have just been following your comments over the past few months..

Hey guys it does not matter what brand or color ya drive. I can make any one of them run just as good as the other. It does not matter to me you tout your deeres and cats all day long and still never get a straight answer. I think it is a shame to see all these good ideas on here and no body tries to get somthing done with them. All of ya are being stupid to think that one brand is actually better than the other. They all have pros and cons

Dakota,deere is working on a better yield moniter that's for sure.Deere's engineers have just spent 6 days near here checking out a farmer's three CX 860 NHs electricals especially the yield moniter.They would do a harvesting trial,check the readings,play around with the system and have another go.

As stated early, Deere can't produce a better system without coping everyone else and brainwashing customers into thinking they developed it. I use to think Deere was the best at everything and then I woke up. Claas has great Combine with the lEXION and I believe the future will hold more significant improvements. In the meantime all the other OEM's are trying to play catch up to the lEXION.

I think it is always good to see what somebody else is doing. You can only learn something but never loose anything. I hope they don't copy all of NH's electrical bugs, too.

If you have been following my posts, than you should know just about all the troubles on the lexions, since I have been posting them bit by bit. The difference to Deere is, that Claas looked at my report and asked me not to post it, because they want to fix the problems. I still answer any particular question truthfully.

Yes the Cx's seem to have a few electrical niggles but I still remember a custom harvesting mate of mine and one of his 9600s.About twice a day it would just disengage from harvesting,so the operator would just go around to the right hand side ,lift the shield up and then close it and off it would go again.No one could ever find the problem area
