LOL @fatcow
We've found oxiclean to be a miracle for a lot of stuff. Put a little scoop in a couple gallons of hot water and soak the stained item. Works on a lot of stains. Dawn is good for grease removal too. If it was really bad I'd try my driveway degreaser spray as a last resort but...
I remember that they were touting tier 4 stuff before it was even mandatory so I don't know if they saw the writing on the wall and just tried to get ahead of the curve or what but it makes no sense for a mfg to want to add a bunch of extra cost to engineering and mfg process unless they think...
I'm going to start some controversy here I'm sure but most everybody I talk to wants nothing to do with the tier 4 final regulations, dpf, and all the computerized emissions the new ag tractors are being forced to install. Add to that the skyrocketing cost of new tractors and I am of the...
My farm is small enough that it's either me or my son running the equipment and if anything he's better at fixing than I am. Sometimes it's as simple as blowing things out with air and watching your gauges and most equipment will run strong for generations if you start with good quality.
Depends on how nice you want it to be. Scrap wood and chicken wire is where I'd start. If you're in a cold climate consider some tarp or fabric panels to block the wind. Make sure all the little gaps are filled in.
I lower my throttle so the 3 point moves real slow and I try to get it right to where the link ends are touching. Then I use a 2x4 as my pry bar to nudge the bush hog around. Yeah they are all a PITA to change up.
Oh I think the long term effects are pretty obvious right now but maybe the science or data isn't zoomed in on it. By that I mean people are getting cancer left and right and usually the cause is unknown. Doesn't take a genius to figure out that the one word answer is exposure. Lots of stuff...
I'd agree that chickens are really easy to raise, even kids can do it. In fact that's the first livestock I raised when they brought eggs and an incubator into our first grade class at school. Since then I've raised dozens of flocks, all different breeds.
I think the official farming term is cannabis. Wonder how many smaller commercial farmers will set up hydrophobic buildings and grow cannabis once it's legalized? I bet there's gonna be a race to the bottom for cheap pot.
