Combines 8010

Sounds as if something is wrong with that particular machine. You have to be the first person to complain about power on the 8010's. No way was that machine running at its full potential. It's a shame the engineer wasn't correcting the problem and that you, a possible customer, had to see such a poor showing. Good luck with whatever machine you purchase.

My 8010 had plenty of power. 6 to7 mph however I had to replace the fuel filter several times when I was lossing power. Im sure this was the problem on a 8010 low on power. Overall im very happy with the capacity and power. Only lost one bearing and a bad feeder switch by the way a 2388 swith worked.

Maybe it was a 7010 with 8010 decals. There was one at some of the shows this past fall. The 7010 is under powered for its size, it looked just like a 8010 size wise. It is Cummins powered, a punched out 505 up to 540 cu in. MaybeIJIJIJIJIJ.

7010 has a 9 l cummins stroked 8.3 same as in the STX 325

We had a similiar problem when we bought our 2366 three years ago. Combine lacked power, changing fuel filters, cleaning air filter did not help. Tech came down, checked wastegate, injectors and several other things but couldn't figure out the problem. It didn't even have the power the old 1660 had that we traded in. A 1063 was more than it wanted. That winter they sent the pump in, found out it was putting out less than 80% of the fuel it was suppose to. The shop reset it to factory specs and since then it has been a totaly different combine. Now we are running a 1083 and can run 5 mph in 200 bpa corn at 17%m. Just a thought

It has 2300 HRS 1988. It has a standard rotor. Very nice turbored on this site has seen it.

In corn a 8010 can push 5000bph and for the same sampel a 9860 is about 4500 like a 480cat you have to give up some sampel for speed but in beans with the 635f the 9860 is just alsome speed speed @7.3 mph around 24.5 aph the case head is the hold back but by fall you can put the 635 on a 8010 7.3 was not all it had but all the operation could handel
