I know what you mean with the parts situation. Fortunately for myself the AGCO dealer is the one with the parts, can't say that about the Case dealer. The John Deere dealer has most common parts but they cost as much as the green paint! I really feel sorry for you as the dealer is what makes or breaks a machine. Our Case dealer doesn't even keep a common set of bearings on hand and it wouldn't do no good anyhow with them nimcompoops behind the partscounter. I used to work at the Case dealer so I might have a biased opinion but most all of the customers agreeded with me! By the way as far as ordering parts AGCO is by far the fastest here, last year I ordered a variable speed assembly for the cyl at 4:30 and had it at 9:00 the next morning. like I told many others the reason I run AGCO products is the dealer so if the other color has a better dealer go for it. A machine is only as good as the dealer that sold it!

I have three Agco dealers I go between.(they are all glad to see me coming) Two of which are not bad but I never expect them to have the parts. I guess they have me trained. If they do I'm lucky that day. The other(1 1_2 hour away) is very good and services alot of combines but Through comparison shopping I have found I pay extra to have the part "on hand". I try to order ahead as much as possible. aRRRgh

Our AGCO dealer is fantastic!!! It is definantly a signifigant reason we run Gleaners. It is very rare that you come away without the part you need. If they do not have the part it will be there next day. I think they could assemble everything from an F2 to an R-75 with their part stocks. Prices are no longer higher than other brands...which seemed to be the case a few years ago. Other examples of what makes it nice to do business with our dealer is they 'always' have a replacement machine free of charge if yours goes down. Example, last fall the tourque limiter went out on our 8070 (which we bought at an auction)...dealer asked if we wanted to take a tractor off the lot while they fixed it. I know they do the same for combines. I would_will buy whatever brands our dealer sells.

Our Agco Dealer is 1 hour away, and 5 out of ten times, he ain't got the part. Its always ..we can order it for you. last time, he didn't even have a rocker switch for the unloading auger...which are a fortune to begin with.

at least you guys can stay in your own country,for a great agco dealer we have to go from manitoba into north dakota,it's only 40 mins from home and crossing through customs has never been a problem,plus we save paying two taxes(14%, 7% we can collect back)it's worth every trip with the stock they carry,and the knoledge they have.

First off, we seldom GO TO the dealer for parts. We order parts on the phone or fax and they arrive here at the farm by UPS or Speedy within a day or two. I have no idea if the dealer stocks the parts or if he gets them from AGCO and I dont really care as long as they arrive here on time. Maybe I am more lazy than most folks, but I dont like driving somewhere and waiting in line at a parts counter when I have lots of productive work to do.

Been going to same Agco dealer for 3 years(old one closed)have had every part I needed in stock,and they will UPS too.Great service from them.

Very few Agco dealers in our area, and none of them carry parts. Most parts usually available within 24hrs and if not they lose the business to a local engineering firm. Dealers are not keen to trade-in your not so old silver machine, as they sit on their lots forever. Agco needs to adress these problems in order to hold their market share down under.
