it is a common problem with Dealers that are having low sales. they are trying to watch spending and at the same time they are hurting the ones that are trying to do business with them. The two dealers in my area are doing a great job stocking the most common wear item parts. they are even stocking used parts for late model machines.I have found that the color does not matter as much as the stability of the dealer.

Just wondered if you ever go to T-Town or AlbionIJ I realize that would be a longer haul and they should of had those parts to begin with. How is your harvest goingIJ

Here in Indiana I have always had good luck getting parts. My local dealer almost always has what I need even on obscure stuff or can find it on the parts web at another AGCO dealer. They are not cheap.....but cost at harvest becomes relative for myself. Off season I get the pre harvest discounts on anything I may need to repair before harvest. If my parts were difficult to get from AGCO I would be green on the combine. Only reason...people and service dept with knowledge.

Our dealer is exceptional. I've only been stoodup once in recent memory and that was in the off-season. If I need something they seem to want it worse than I do. Several of the parts guys have the part number and location memorized. They have said that it is getting hard to maintain that level of service as they face the problems all dealers grapple with. In short we don't send the MIl to that dealer as she returns too quickly and has the misguided impression that she is a net asset to this quagmire.

We are not in combine country where I'm from. I work for the local CaseIH dealer but would never run anything other than a Gleaner. The last CaseIH combine sold here was 1990. They dropped the combine contract after that. The Deere dealer says they still sell combines (order only). I know for a fact they sold only one combine in the last six years. They don't even have a qualified mechanic if they do have a problem. Closest stocking dealer of any color is over 140 miles from me. Closest Gleaner dealer is 180 miles away. We are a smaller producer can't afford to buy new. We deal with a Gleaner salvage and parts dealer who is 89 miles from me. That's all he deals in and that's fine by me. I can just about always call one day and get the parts UPS in a day or two. So far as service we have always done our own. That's why we like a machine we can work on ourselves.

Hello were do you go in ND. Were are you located in manitoba. I can go to ag west or drumands, or shoal lake. Witch is all about 90 mins from me. It would be nice if brandon had a dealer.

we go to hurtt implement it's in hopple ,the guys there are fantastic with parts and also kmow thier stuff.i live near altona.

We have mixed feelings about our dealer. He has a lot of combines on the lot, but not much for parts on the shelves, we have had to wait several days_weeks for parts some times. My brother was a combine mechanic at a Gleaner dealer for several years, so he goes over the machine prior to harvest and we order everything on the 10% discount. We had to send back the front feeder chain three times because they kept ordering the wrong one. We run a 600 draper and they rarely have parts for that. I know it is probably the only one in the area, but it shouldn't take two weeks to get some sections. I guess I should just be happy they are only half and hour away. My 2 cents

Have dealt there before, you are right they are a great bunch of guys. what do you run for a machine.

Dan R is our Agco dealer in eastern Ontario and they do an excellent job. Parts service is excellent and they provide overnight service on most parts that are slow moving. They have good parts inventory and service personnel. Dave
